Increasing efficiency
In recent years, dynamic image analysis has increasingly established itself as an alternative to traditional sieve analysis in laboratories around the world. It offers a significant reduction in workload and a much higher sample throughput plus valuable additional information in the measurement results. The time required for a classic sieve analysis is between 15 and 30 minutes for weighing, filling, analyzing and cleaning the sieves. In addition, the possible measurement results are limited by the available sieve sizes. Dynamic image analysis provides results after two to three minutes on average. The computerized particle analysis CPA developed by NEXOPART is our modern version of dynamic image analysis combined with the latest software for controlling and adjusting the measuring instruments.
Reliable and fully automated –Dynamic image analysis in your laboratory.
Make it easy for yourself: Weighing, setting up, and time-consuming sieve cleaning are a thing of the past with the NEXOPART CPA 2-1. Use dynamic image analysis (DIA) technology to analyze dry, free-flowing, non-agglomerating bulk materials such as
fertilizers, blasting abrasives, sand, coal, food, pharmaceuticals, plastics, seeds, ceramics, and glass. You benefit from
- extensive and more detailed information about your product,
- precise evaluation with the help of the NEXOPART CpaServ software, and
- a multitude of parameters.
Immediate and digital availability of all your analytical results in no time at all with NEXOPART.
One click. Reliable measurement results. CPA.
Once the parameters have been defined, you can use NEXOPART CPA to carry out and complete other analyses fully digitally with just one click. By using a GigE camera, the NEXOPART CPA 2-1 can also be operated using a laptop – for maximum mobility and flexibility.
The CPA method simply explained
The technology of dynamic image analysis (DIA)
Dynamic image analysis for determining particle size and particle shape is based on the optical detection of particles. The NEXOPART CPA 2-1 uses computer-aided digital optical image processing to generate high-resolution digital images of the sample particles.
The material sample is automatically dosed into the CPA 2-1 via the feed chute. Once in the measuring channel, the LED light line and digital line scan camera work in backlight mode. The "scan" principle of the line scan camera ensures unadulterated measurement results. This prevents cropped images of particles and prevents individual particles from being lost. Each individual particle receives high-resolution measurement values and its own ID. NEXOPART CPA 2-1 guarantees 100 percent measurement.
